Course Structure

Understanding The Structure Of The 100 Hour YTTC In Rishikesh

The 100 hour curriculum is organised around the traditional pillars of yoga and covers 14 core subjects across the full duration of the course — each taught as its own dedicated module by a specialist teacher, so the depth you get in every area is genuine and not surface-level.

Each subject is revisited through the course so rather than studying one topic for a week and moving on, you return to every subject consistently. This repetition — the traditional gurukul method — is what makes 25 days of genuine immersion noticeably different from the same number of hours spread across weekends at home.

Your Certificate Explained

What Your 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate Means

100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate
Gurukul
Tradition
15+Years
Teaching

You finish this course with a Rudra Yogpeeth 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate, awarded once you have completed the twelve days and met the attendance and practical requirements. It is a course completion certificate, issued by the school that trained you, and it names exactly what you were taught and assessed on — asana alignment, pranayama, meditation, yoga anatomy, philosophy and the teaching methodology behind a safe, well-sequenced class.

It is worth being clear about what a 100 hour yoga certification in Rishikesh is and is not. One hundred hours is a foundation course, not a full teaching qualification — the internationally recognised teaching credential begins at the 200-hour level. So this certificate records genuine, verifiable training hours with a named school, and it is the step most students take before committing to the longer course.

What the certificate says you can do

  • Practise and self-correct the foundational asana syllabus with safe alignment
  • Use pranayama, kriya and meditation techniques with an understanding of their effects
  • Read a body for the basics — joints, spine, breath mechanics and common contraindications
  • Apply the core philosophy of the Yoga Sutras and the Gita to your own practice
  • Sequence and lead a simple beginner-level class under guidance

Most students treat this as the first half of their journey. Your 100 contact hours and this certificate carry straight into the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, where you complete the remaining hours and earn the qualification studios and employers ask for when they hire a yoga teacher.

Your Teaching Journey Begins

Certification and Career Opportunities After 100 Hour YTTC

After completing your 100 hours yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, you have the foundation to start sharing yoga — and once you add the 200 hour training, you can begin teaching professionally in the way that suits your lifestyle and goals.

Most students don't do everything at once. Some start part-time, some go full-time. The course gives you a clear starting point — you build the rest step by step.

Questions You May Have

FAQ - 100 Hours Yoga TTC In Rishikesh

Is this 100-hour YTTC internationally recognized?

You receive a Rudra Yogpeeth 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training course completion certificate, which records 100 verified contact hours with a named Rishikesh school and is accepted worldwide as proof of that training. It is a foundation certificate rather than a full teaching qualification — the recognised teaching credential starts at 200 hours. Most of our students complete the remaining 100 hours with us and finish with the full 200 hour certification.

Is this course important to begin with?

It is not necessary to start with the 100 hour of YTTC. Still, it is always recommended to begin your yoga teacher training journey by doing this course, as it is a course that provides an idea of the Yoga teacher training process & helps you understand everything without any pressure. It is easy and enjoyable.

Are we given individual time with teachers?

At Rudra Yogpeeth, you can always ask and discuss your queries/doubts with our teachers. We love healthy discussions on yoga and the world.

Are there any discounts on courses?

You can check our website for current offers and discounts and avail of them before they are gone. We are always happy to help our students save!
